The 2 minute spiel:
I am a sailor
on the currents of mankind
I sail the body
and I sail the mind
I find my joy
in the verse and the song

INTERVIEW
What does your work say?
Sometimes it says, "Look at me! Aren't I pretty!" and sometimes it says "Damn! We keep this up and we're all gonna die!"
What/who are your influences?
Lots and in every genre. As a human, I'm trying to be a little Gandhi. As a painter, Francis Bacon, Dali, Ralph Steadman, who illustrated Hunter S. Thompson's writings, fantasy painters like Frank Frazetta and Patrick Woodroffe...I have a lot of love and respect for Aboriginal art, Northwest coast and Maori culture in the South Pacific. As a musician, anybody who plays music teaches me something. I learned alot from U2, Michael Franti, Marley, Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Daniel Lanois...
How did you get your start?
At 27 I went to Art College to finish my high school diploma and KAPOW!!! I earned a $35,000 student debt that the banks allowed to charge unrealistic interest rates on...er? What was the question?
Are you a product of your environment or did you create the environment?
Definitely a product of my environment. I'm neither talented nor prolific enough to create my own.
What ignites your soul?
My life ignites my soul.
What's your mantra or personal philosophy?
"Let your Privilege be in actions themselves; never in their fruits."
Advice to those comin' up
I wish someone had told me along time ago that you can be anything you want to be, wherever you want, for as long as you want, and change it up as often as you want.
If you could change one thing in the world or current state of affairs what would it be?
Oooh! Here's where I talk too much... We're living in an exciting time in human history. I think mankind is coming up to a day of reckoning, where we can fall on our faces or rise to a better state of being. I'm talking about the environment, that is our primary challenge. Success there will need an earth wide harmony in all other venues, social, religious and political. I have faith that we will prevail, mentally and physically along with this beautiful earth. I'm trying to be apart of that success, but I can do alot more.

If you could make up a reality show what would it be?
I'd take 2 remote aboriginal tribes from deep in the Amazon, drop'em in Brooklyn, New York and watch as they attempt to survive on fast food while competing in various computer games. The winner gets a small percentage of the lumber rights on their land back home.
